Samuel Abdulraheem ba ya tuna ranar da aka sace shi yana da shekara bakwai daga gidan iyayensa a birnin Kano da ke arewacin Najeriya.

Duk da cewa ya fito ne daga gida mai yawan mutane- mahaifinsa na da yara 17 da mata hudu- an bar Samuel da mai rainonsa su kadai a gida ranar.

“Ba na jin ina da tausayi a loacin,” a cewarsa. “Kawai dai kamar fatalwa nake sai dai in je in yi aikin dan jagora. In samo kudi, in ci abinci in yi bacci, gobe ma haka.

Rayuwar bauta

Mabarata daban-daban sun rinka hayarsa tsawon lokaci kama daga sati guda zuwa wata guda.

Wani lokaci mutane kan basu abinci idan suka yi bara. A wasu lokutan kuwa sai su tsaya a gaban gidajen abinci su ci ragowar na mutane ko su diba a bola.

“Kullum ina cikin yunwa. Da rana idan una aiki, da wuya in samu damar zama in ci abinci.” ya ce.

“Ina ganin mabaratan ba mutanen banza bane. Suna tashi daga bacci, su yi bara yadda mutane ke tashi da safe su tafi aiki.”

Kullum Samuel na takawa daga wani yankin na Legas zuwa wani a matsayin dan jagora.

Wani lokaci su kan taka zuwa wasu jihohin dake makwaftaka ko kuma su tsallaka Jamhuriyar Benin. Idan mabaratan suka samu labarin wasu masu karziki za su yi taro a wani waje, sai su gaya wa Samuel ya kai su wajen da motar Bas.

“Akwai lokutan da na ke gajiya sai in ki tsayawa don mu yi bara amma makafi na da saurin gano abu- jinsu na da kaifi. Wani lokaci sai su karkatar da kafadata su ce ‘Akwai wani a nan. Me ya sa ka wuce shi?’

Abin al’ajabi ya faru

A watan Disambar 2000, wani mabaraci da yake yi wa dan jagora ya ji labarin taron da ake yi a cocin Winners Chapel inda suka gamu da yayarsa.

Da farko, Firdausi ta kidime ta kasa mika hannu ta taba kaninta- wanda har yanzu bai manta ihun da ta yi ba.

“Sai na fadi a kasa,” ta ce.

Samuel ya rame, kafadarsa ta dama ta karkace kuma ya yi dif kamar kurma, ba ya cewa uffan. Ganin haka Firdausi ta fashe da kuka.

“Na dan jima ban gane ta ba, duk da na ga alamar sanayya- alamar cewa wannan ‘yar uwata ce,” in ji Samuel.

Sai ta hadu da wata mata mai makaranta kuma ta maince ta sa shi a makarantarta yayin da Firdausi ta shirya samar masa malamin da zai rika yi masa karatu idan ya taso daga makaranta.

Samuel ya zama mai hazaka a makaranta

Ya ci duka jarabawarsa sosai kuma a lokacin da ya kai shekara 17 sai ya zana jarabawar shiga jami’a.

Nan ma ya ci fiye da yadda ake tsammani don kuwa shi ya zo na daya a makarantarsu gaba daya kuma ya samu Jami’ar Ahmadu Bello da ke Zaria inda ya karanata fannin Injiniya.

“Bana taba jin haushin mutane ko in riki wani a zuciyata,” ya ce.

Samuel ya ce yana fatan cewa labarinsa zai karkatar da hankalin mutane kan mabarata da ‘yan jagorarsu.

“Idan suka ga mabaraci da dan jagora, su yi nazari a kan cewa babu mamaki yaron nan na bukatar taimako,” a cewarsa. “Kada kawai ku mika kudi ku tafi.”

Cikin wata sanarwa, Action Aid ta ce tana samar da taimako ne ba tare da wata manufa ta daban ba ga miliyoyin mutane a jihar Borno ta hanyar samar masu da kayayyakin agaji ga mutanen da rikici ya fi shafa musamman mata da yara kanana.

Kungiyar ta ce sojoji, ba tare da wata sanarwa ba, sun bukaci ta rufe ofishinta da ke birnin Maiduguri a jihar Borno.

Cikin watan Yuli, Action Aid wacce ke da mazauni a Paris ta ce ma’aikatan ta masu ba da ceto sun shiga hannun masu garkuwa a Najeriya.

An ga ma’aikatan shida cikin wani bidiyo, inda daya daga cikinsu take kira ga gwamnatin kasar da al’ummar kasar waje da su sa baki a kubutar da su.

Kawo yanzu, babu wanda ya san inda ma’aikatan suke.

Babu kuma wata kungiya da ta fito ta ce ita ce ta sace ma’aikatan.

A shekarar 2015, Boko Haram ta kwace iko da kaso mai tsoka na Borno abin da ya ba ta damar fadada ayyukanta zuwa makwabtan kasashe.

Yakin kawo karshen masu tada-kayar-baya da sojoji suka kaddamar ya sa gwamnati kwato mafi yawan yankunan da suka fada hannun Boko Haram.

Sai dai a baya bayannan, masu tada tarzomar sun fadada kai harin kunar bakin wake da sace-sacen jama’a domin cimma muradunsu.

Daya daga cikin hare-hare mafi muni da ta kai shi ne kan makarantar ‘yan mata ta Chibok da ke arewa maso gabashin kasar lokacin da aka yi garkuwa da dalibai ‘yan mata 276.

Da yawa daga cikinsu sun kubuta, amma dai har yanzu ba a kai ga gano inda wasu 100 suke ba.

Rahotanni na cewa tun daga 2013, Boko Haram ta sace mutane fiye da 1,000.

Kungiyar mabiya addinin kirista reshen jihar Kaduna ta bayyana rashin jin dadinta dangane da yunkurin gwamnati na rusa cocin Anglican na Saint Geoges da ke Sabon garin Zaria, wadda aka gina a 1908.

Reverend Hayab ya karyata cewa an bai wa cocin diyya “Muna zaune kawai sai muka ga wasika wai za a rushe coci saboda an biya kudin diyya. Ba bu wanda ya biya diyya”

“Na biyu wasikar kuma ba ta da kwanan wata a jikinta. Shi ya sa muke neman gwamnatin jihar ta Kaduna ta fada mana tana da masaniya kan wannan wasika idan ba haka ba kuma muna son ta hukunta duk mai hannu a al’amarin.”

Kwara: Tribunal upholds election of Gov Abdulrazaq

The Governorship election petition tribunal in Ilorin, Friday dismissed the Peoples Democratic Party’s certificate forgery allegations against Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq of Kwara State and upheld his election in the March 9, 2019 poll.

Delivering judgement, Chairman of the tribunal, Justice Bassey Effiong, said all documents and certificates presented by the respondents during the election were not forged.

The tribunal held that Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq did not violate the provisions of Sections 177 of the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria based on the certificates he presented to contest the election.

Justice Effiong held that the word Rahaman was valid and that the assertion that the name written on the certificates did not start with Abdul is not a strong argument.

He said the petitioner has not been able to prove his case beyond reasonable doubt as enshrined in Sections 35(5)(6) of the Electoral Act 2010 as amended.

The tribunal held that the evidence of PW1 and PW2 did not prove the case of the petitioner.

Justice Effiong maintained that Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq was qualified to contest as at the time of the election.

Razaq Atunwa, the Governorship candidate for the People’s Democratic Party,in the 2019 election, and his party had filed a petition before the tribunal, challenging the authenticity of the WAEC results presented by Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq as well as his competence to contest the March 9,2019 Governorship poll in the state.

Reacting to the judgement through his spokesman Rafiu Ajakaye in a statement, Governor Abdulrazaq who was physically present at the tribunal, described it as a triumph of truth over falsehood and a sweet victory for Kwarans.

“This judgement affirms the truism that never will falsehood triumph over truth,nor evil over good till the end of time- no matter the efforts or public grandstanding of the purveyors of such falsehood.”

The statement said the judgement confirmed the party’s long held position that the entire allegation was malicious and a tale by the moonlight.

“For us the judgement serves as a tonic to go the extra mile to build a polity where players will be motivated only by truth and the dream of serving our people and not by unbridled ambitions,” the statement said.

“We thank their Lordships for their erudition and well considered judgement. We express our profound respect and gratitude to our legal team who meticulously and professionally handled the provocative issue with admirable comportment and superior knowledge of the law.

“While we were always confident of victory,since we had nothing to hide, there were some Kwarans who felt concerned that some persons were bent on either causing confusion or going through the backdoor to get whatever Kwarans did not give them at the poll. It is to this end that we most sincerely thank Kwarans for their support and prayers while the case lasted. We also assure them that we will follow through on the steps being taken to build a Kwara that is prosperous and is a pride of all.”
