Governor Darius Dickson Ishaku of Taraba State has finally broken his silence over the recent bomb blast in the State, promising to assist the victims.
Ishaku, who spoke via a press statement made available to the media on Thursday by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Bala Dan Abu,
promised that his government will assist those injured and are receiving treatment in hospitals.
Condemning the act, which he described as “barbaric, wicked and an act of unprovoked aggression against innocent people”, he said there was the need for the security agencies not to rest on their oars pending when the perpetrators are brought down.
He said “security agencies should go after the perpetrators of this heinous crime and should try and make them pay for their sins.”
Ishaku also urged Tarabans to be always vigilant and to report strange visitors to their communities promptly.
The recent bomb attack, which DAILY POST reported, took place in Iware community of Ardo-Kola Local Government Area, leading to the death of many, with several others injured.
