In a surprising turn of events, New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP) candidate Barrister MB Shehu has been declared the winner of the Fagge Federal House of Representatives seat in Kano state, unseating the incumbent All Progressive Congress (APC) member, Aminu Sulaiman Goro, who is currently serving his third term.

The Returning Officer, Professor Ibrahim Tajo Suraj, announced that MB Shehu secured 19,024 votes out of the total votes cast, followed by the Labour Party candidate, Shuaibu Abubakar, with 12,789 votes. Aminu Sulaiman Goro of APC finished third with 8,669 votes.
Barrister MB Shehu was declared the winner for meeting the legal requirements and garnering the highest number of votes. Combining these results with the previous February 25th election, NNPP finished first, followed by LP and APC in second and third place, respectively.
