1. Bandits have released 28 students abducted from the Bethel Baptist Academy along Kaduna-Kachia road in Chikun Local Government Area of the State. Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) in Kaduna, Rev. John Hayab, said about 80 students were still held captive by the bandits while the released students will be reunited with their families.

The Sector Commander, Zubairu Mato, said the accident occurred on Friday when a bridge linking Riruwai and Doguwa broke down as a result of the heavy rainfall.
4. The parents of the abducted students of the Federal Government College (FGC), Birnin Yauri have organized a special prayer to seek God’s intervention for the release of their children. The prayer session was organized under the auspices of Birnin Yauri and Kambuwa Development Association.
