El-Zakzaky: DSS whisks Shiites leader, wife away upon return to Nigeria

Ibrahim El-Zakzaky, leader of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria (IMN) otherwise known as Shiites and his wife, Zeenat have been taken into custody by the Department of State Services (DSS).

They were taken into the custody on arrival at the airport on Friday.

The Islamic cleric and his wife arrived aboard an Ethiopian Airlines by exactly 12noon at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.

The President, Media Forum of IMN, Ibrahim Musa, confirmed to reporters in Abuja that their leader had been taken away by the DSS operatives.
