COVID-19: Two Corps members test positive in Kano

The NYSC Coordinator in Kano State, Aisha Tata, has revealed that two new corps members posted to the state have tested positive for the dreaded coronavirus disease.

Tata made this known while briefing newsmen after the swearing-in of the 2020 Batch ‘B’ Stream A corps members on Monday.

According to her, 826 corps members who were posted to the state were tested for the virus.

She explained that all protocols to prevent the spread of the virus are in place in the camp, adding that those who tested positive have been transferred to an isolation center.

“As you have seen, we have provided all the necessary prevention facilities and ensured that all the corps members use them.

“We have also ensured comprehensive fumigation to ensure that the camp remains a clean environment for the corps members,” she said
