Atiku vs Buhari: PDP defends choice of Peter Obi as vice presidential candidate

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, on Sunday defended the choice of former Anambra State Governor, Peter Obi, as the running mate to its Presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar.

PDP’s National Publicity Secretary, Kola Ologbondiyan said the choice of Obi will ensure economic prosperity for Nigeria, if Abubakar is voted into power.

Abubakar had last week confirmed Obi as his running mate after both men met at the former’s home in Abuja to hold talks.

Ologbondiyan, in a tweet, described Obi as having “economic wizadry” with rich history in management of human and material resources.
