Two persons have died in a motor accident that happened along Ipetu-Ijesa/Ilesa road, Osun State on Sunday.
The fatal accident occurred around 2:40 pm on Sunday at about 7 km from Iwaraja Junction Omo Ijesa.
The accident, it was gathered, involved six persons including three children.
The spokesperson of Osun Command of the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC), Agnes Ogungbemi, said the accident was probably caused by tyre burst, speed limit violation and wrongful overtaking.
The accident involved two vehicles, a truck and a Nissan Premia with registration number, WEN 397 AA.
She said that two female children died in the accident while injured victims were taken to Wesley hospital Ilesa.
“The dead bodies have been deposited to the Wesley hospital Ilesa morgue.”
