Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has insisted he is not looking to leave Arsenal, but wants to become a “legend” with the Premier League side.
The Gabon striker has hit 41 goals in 64 appearances across all competitions in a season-and-a-half since joining from Borussia Dortmund, with 32 coming in just 49 Premier League appearances.
The Gabon international also picked up the Golden Boot award for the 2018/2019 season with 22 league strikes, sharing the title with Liverpool duo Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane.
His displays have linked him with Real Madrid, who will be rebuilding this summer.
But Aubameyang says he is happy at the Emirates.
“It was challenging for me to come to Arsenal and impose myself.
“Now I want my name to become a legend there,” Aubameyang told RMC Sport.
