Transfer: Ajax confirm Ziyech will leave club amid interests from Man United, Arsenal

Ajax’s sporting director, Marc Overmars, has confirmed that attacking midfielder, Hakim Ziyech, will leave the club this summer amidst interests from Manchester United and Arsenal.

Ziyech has drawn interests from both Premier League clubs in recent weeks following his brilliant exploit in the Champions League this season.

The Moroccan international has scored 21 goals and provided 24 assists for Ajax this season.

Speaking on Ziyech, Overmars was quoted by Mirror UK as saying on Friday: “He leaves when a top club comes.

“He is in focus because of his achievements in the Champions League.

“Many big clubs are buzzing around him. We promised Hakim [that we would] agree to a good transfer.”
