AC Milan are closing in on the signing of Chelsea defender, Fikayo Tomori, this January transfer window.
The Serie A giants will sign Tomori on a six-month loan deal with an option to buy for around £25million.
This was disclosed by football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, on Thursday night.
According to Romano, Fikayo will be in Milan on Friday (today) to have his medicals.
“Confirmed. Fikayo Tomori will be in Milano on Friday to have medicals as new AC Milan player, paperwork signed today with Chelsea.
“Final details: loan until June 2021 [6 months] with buy option around €28.2m [£25m]. He’ll fly to Italy in the next few hours,” Romano wrote on Twitter.
Meanwhile, Chelsea manager, Frank Lampard, has already confirmed earlier this month that Fikayo will leave Stamford Bridge on loan this transfer window in order to get regular playing game time.
Lampard said, “Situation with Fikayo is open about the moment.
“There is a possibility he could be going on loan to get games somewhere else.”
