Shehu Sani tasks Buhari govt over killing of Nigerian in Kyrgyzstan

Former Kaduna Central Senator and human rights activist, Shehu Sani has urged the Federal Government to hold the government of Kyrgyzstan to account over the murder of Aliyu Tijjani Abubakar.

The former lawmaker, while reacting to killing, via his verified Twitter handle, on Saturday wrote: “Our Jaws are bleeding and we are turning the other cheek.

“The rise in the killings of Nigerians overseas is becoming alarming.

“The FG must hold the Government of Kyrgyzstan to account over the brutal murder of Aliyu Tijjani Abubakar.”

DAILY POST recalls that the 38-year-old Kaduna born Abubakar was reportedly attacked and killed in cold blood by suspected Kyrgyz citizens on July 2, 2019 at the Bishkek city centre.
