Restructuring: Buhari deceived Nigerians to get votes – Omokri

Reno Omokri, a former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan has accused President Muhammadu Buhari of being responsible for the secession agitations of the Southeast and Southwest.
Omokri made the remark while calling Buhari out over his latest comment on restructuring.
Buhari had said those agitating for the restructuring of Nigeria are people who cannot win elections even in their domains.
The President said such persons are afraid of going into politics, adding that he can never cede the government to such individuals.

He also noted that those agitating for separation and canvassing for restructuring are naive and ignorant of war.
However, Omokri said Buhari’s comment exposed him as deceitful.
The former presidential aide said Buhari obtained votes under false pretence by using restructuring.
He also pointed out that Buhari’s comment may drive Nigeria to war.
“General Buhari campaigned on restructuring. Now, he says those advocating for restructuring have nothing to say?
“This is deceit. This is obtaining votes by false pretences. This is why the SW and SE are agitating for secession. May Buhari not drive Nigeria to war!,” He tweeted.
