Matawalle appoints ex-minister’s son Commissioner of Finance

Zamfara State Governor, Hon. Bello Mohammed Matawalle has approved the redeployed of the State Commissioner of Finance, Rabiu Garba from his ministry to the Ministry of Commerce, and Industry.
The Governor ordered for the redeployment of the Commissioner of Commerce, Sufiyanu Bashir Yuguda, the son of former minister of finance, Ambassador Bashir Yuguda to oversee the affairs of the State’s Ministry of Finance.
According to a statement by the Secretary to the State Government, Bala Bello Maru, “the affected Commissioners should take over their new offices today, Thursday 22nd April 2021, and submit copies of their handover notes immediately to the office of the Secretary to the State Government”.
DAILY POST can authoritatively report that Ambassador Bashir Yuguda is the honorary Adviser to Governor Bello Mohammed Matawalle. The former minister is one of the gurus and decision makers in Matawalle’s administration and Zamfara State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
