Juventus: What Ronaldo said after receiving Serie A MVP award, lifting league trophy

Juventus superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo, has spoken out after lifting the Serie A title with the Italian giants last night.

The game was the last home game for head coach Massimiliano Allegri and captain, Andrea Barzagli’s final game as a player.

Barzagli will retire at the end of the season after a string of injuries this season.

Before kick-off against Atalanta on Sunday, Barzagli was honoured, praised and applauded by the Juventus fans.

Similarly, Ronaldo was praised, but for a different reason.

He was named as Serie A MVP of the season and was presented with his award before the game kicked off against Atalanta.

Ronaldo tweeted, “Very happy to win the second trophie for @juventusfc and my first Serie A championship!”
