Europa League: What Iwobi said after Arsenal qualified for final

Nigerian Arsenal forward, Alex Iwobi, has reacted to the club’s qualification for the Europa League final.

Arsenal defeat Valencia 4-2 in the second leg of the semi-final clash on Thursday to qualify 7-3 on aggregate having beaten the LaLiga side 3-1 in London last week.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s hattrick and Alexandre Lacacette strike ensured that the North London side comfortably book their place against Chelsea in Baku.

Iwobi, who was on the bench for the second successive game in the Europa League,
tweeted: ”Top Performance From The Boys Tonight.

Iwobi and his teammates will face Chelsea at the Baku Olympic Stadium in Azerbaijan on May 29.

It would be Arsenal’s first European final since they were beaten by Barcelona in the Champions League showpiece in 2006.
