EPL: Ronaldo nets brace on Man Utd return, Arsenal finally win

Cristiano Ronaldo was the name sung around Old Trafford once again, as Manchester United defeated Newcastle 4-1 on Saturday.

The 36-year-old was making a return for the club and was included in the starting XI alongside Jadon Sancho and Mason Greenwood in attack.

Ronaldo opened scoring for United with a tap in, after Woodman spilled the ball into his path.

However, the visitors made it 1-1 in the second through Javier Manquillo

Ronaldo drilled in his second of the day through Woodman’s legs, before Bruno Fernandes and Jesse Lingard added more goals.

Arsenal finally won for the first time this season, with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scoring a controversial winner in the 1-0 win over Norwich City.

Manchester City also defeated Leicester City 1-0.
