Alhassan Ado Doguwa, the Majority Leader of the House of Representatives and representative of the Doguwa/Tudun Wada Federal Constituency, has refuted accusations of involvement in the alleged killing of sixteen people, attributing the claims to political detractors seeking to tarnish his reputation. Speaking to the press on Tuesday in Kano, Doguwa credited his recent electoral victory to divine intervention and pledged to work inclusively.
Doguwa expressed forgiveness for those who wronged him and invited them to assist in fulfilling his responsibilities as a representative of the people. Regarding his Speakership ambition, Doguwa stated he would not rush but would be open to contesting if called upon, respecting the APC’s decision on the matter. He thanked the people of Doguwa and Tudunwada for their unwavering support and expressed gratitude to the President-elect and Kano State Governor Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje for their assistance.
