Coronavirus: FFK alerts of ‘mass death in North’

As Nigeria continues to fight against Coronavirus, Femi Fani-Kayode has warned that thousands of citizens will die in the North if President Muhammadu Buhari does not intervene immediately.

Fani-Kayode issued the warning while reacting to reports of alleged mass death and increase in confirmed cases in Kano.

DAILY POST reported that Kano on Tuesday confirmed fourteen new cases of COVID-19.

As of 21st April, the State’s tally stands at 73.

Fani-Kayode on his Twitter page warned that the government was playing with fire.

His tweet read: “If something is not done quickly by Buhari, hundreds of thousands of people, particularly the elderly, will begin to die of COVID and related diseases in Kano and other parts of the north.

“In a country of 200 million, we have only tested 10,000? We are playing with fire!”
