Atiku will reverse tuition fees hike across Nigerian universities, group claims

A group of young people who support Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the People Democratic Party (PDP), have told students that their leader wants to reverse the recent increases in university tuition fees made by the APC-led government.

The group, which was part of Arewa Decide for 2023, sent in the proposal soon after comrade Nazeer Garki was named as the coordinator for Jigawa State.

Garki says that if Atiku Abubakar becomes president of Nigeria, he will review and reverse the APC-led government’s decision to raise university tuition fees.

Comrade Garki also asked the people of Jigawa and Nigeria as a whole, especially the young people, to vote for Atiku in the upcoming presidential election on February 25 to benefit from the good plans and policies he has for them, women, and others.

“I am also advising people to vote for PDP candidate because they are the leaders that will make Nigerians back to normal and good condition,” he said.

Nazeer said that the new currency and the cashless policy have made life complicated for Nigerians.

“This is an APC policy that put poor Nigerians into calamity, now currency is hard to access people are suffering,” he alleged.
