Arewa. Ng: Buhari Meets WIth APC Governors for the second time in a week

President Muhammadu Buhari and his vice, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, are currently meeting with governors under the All Progressives Congress (APC).

This is the second time in less than a week that such a meeting would be holding.

Wednesday’s meeting, stil holding at the State House, Abuja, has in attendance governors of Kano, Borno, Bauchi, Imo and Lagos states.

It is not clear what the mission of the five governors are, but it may be connected to issues relating to their party primaries.

On October 4, 2010, nine APC governors had met with the President on a related matter.

Speaking after that meeting, Rochas Okorocha, Governor of Imo State, had said the meeting was to “review the various crises characterising our primaries with a view to finding a solution to them”.
