Akeredolu condoles police, families of officers who died in Ondo auto crash.

Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State on Wednesday sympathized with the Nigeria Police over the death of some of its men who lost their lives in a car crash that happened in Ondo State.
While condoling with families and well-wishers of victims of the unfortunate car crash which occurred on Tuesday along Oba-Ile-Airport road, Akure, the State capital, Akeredolu said that the officers did not only die in the line of duty.
The accident claimed two lives with the deceased being men of the Police Mobile Force, PMF Base in Akure even as many were injured in the mishap.
The governor in a statement signed by his Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Donald Ojogo stated that: “The scene was rather disturbing and quite pitiful as I got there shortly after it happened. It touches more when the victims were officers of the Nigeria Police who died not just in active service but on the line of duty.
“This is an irreplaceable loss, no doubt. Nonetheless, our solace can only be drawn from the eternal comfort that He Giveth and Taketh.
“As a Government, our hearts are with the authorities of the Nigeria Police as well as the immediate families of the departed. This is a shared moment and unfortunately so.”
