Wizkid Stole ‘Baba Nla’ From Dammy Krane, Blogger Insists

Nigerian blogger, Ayo Jaguda, has accused Wizkid of stealing his hit single ‘Baba Nla’ from fellow music artiste, Dammy Krane.

Wizkid is currently a subject of discussion on social media following a podcast released this week by Osagie Alonge, who accused the singer of lying about his age.

Osagie also said Wizkid deceived Dammy Krane by hosting him in his house with drugs, getting him to record a song and then finally stealing the song from the singer.

Osage received backlash for his remarks and he had to delete the podcast, after he lamented that he and his co-host had received death threats.

However, a Nigerian blogger has joined in the discussion, coming out to collaborate Osagie’s claim that Wizkid stole the song from Dammy Krane.

In a series of tweets, Ayo, who said Wizkid is one of the greatest artistes in Nigeria, noted that the singer lacks character.

He wrote: “Wiz scammed Dammy Krane though. There are few facts on there but he should have done it proper without being uncultured. Dammy Krane recorded ‘Baba Nla’; Wizkid stole that record. That’s a fact.”

In 2016, Dammy Krane had accused Wizkid of stealing from him.

He had described Wizkid as a “fake ass nigga”, and the confrontations became tense, as there were reports of Wizkid attacking Dammy Krane with a bottle at a club.
