What Sir Alex Ferguson told Solskjaer after Man Utd’s 2-0 defeat to Cardiff

Legendary Manchester United boss, Sir Alex Ferguson, was reportedly overheard teasing current manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, after a dismal 2-0 defeat to Cardiff last weekend.

Nathaniel Mendez-Laing scored both goals at Old Trafford, to ensure United finished the season with just two wins from their final 12 games in all competitions.

It also meant the Red Devils finished sixth, 32 points behind champions Manchester City.

Ferguson was in the stands for several of Solskjaer’s matches as manager and watched on as they finished the campaign with a home defeat.

According to Hungarian outlet, Nemzeti Sport, Ferguson told Solskjaer, “Son! What was that?!” before they caught up over a bottle of wine.
