Transfer: De Ligt gets five-year-deal, to earn €12million at new club

Ajax captain, Matthijs De Ligt, has been offered a five-year-contract by Juventus.

The Netherlands international will also earn €12million at the Serie A champions.

This was disclosed by respected transfer expert and sport journalist, Nicolo Schira, who works for Gazzetta dello Sport.

Schira made this known on Sunday through his official Twitter page.

He wrote: “It’s confirmed! #Juventus want to close for #DeLigt. They have offered €70M to #Ajax and a contract until 2024 (by €12M at year) for him.”

DAILY POST had reported that De Ligt had been linked with a move to Juventus, Barcelona, Manchester United, Liverpool and PSG in recent weeks.

The defender had an outstanding season with Ajax last term.
