Thierry Henry loses first match in charge of Monaco

Thierry Henry’s first game in charge of Monaco ended in defeat, as they lost 2-1 away to Strasbourg.

Monaco went into Saturday’s clash in the drop zone, while Strasbourg have been impressive so far in this season.

It took just 17 minutes for the hosts to go ahead after a howler from goalkeeper, Seydou Sy.

Adrien Thomasson opened the scoring as Strasbourg went in 1-0 at the break, before Samuel Grandsir was sent off for the visitors, just two minutes after coming on.

Strasbourg substitute, Lebo Mothiba doubled the lead later on, before Youri Tielemans scored a late consolation from the spot.
