Sergio Aguero signs new contract with Man City

Manchester City star, Sergio Aguero has signed a new contract that will keep him at the club until at least 2021.

The player said he signed the contract just because he wanted to spend 10 years at the club.

The Argentine striker joined the Citizens in 2011 from Atletico Madrid, and has become the club’s all-time top goalscorer.

He has scored 204 goals in 299 appearances for City and his new deal is worth £220,000-a-week.

“I am happy for this additional year,” the striker told CityTV.

“My idea was being here for 10 years. I’ve been here for seven years, it’s going to be 10 when the contract expires.

“Hopefully, that’s going to happen. This was the main reason I signed.”
