Ronaldo’s self-esteem ‘hurt’ by Messi’s move to PSG

Cristiano Ronaldo wants to leave Juventus as his self-esteem has been “hurt” by Lionel Messi’s move to Paris Saint-Germain.

La Reppublica reports that the 36-year-old is “terrified” of another season in Italy.

Ronaldo has already been offered to Manchester City for just £25 million by his agent, Jorge Mendes.

Messi completed a shock-free transfer move to PSG last week after he was not allowed to stay at Barcelona due to financial problems at the club.

His move to PSG is said to have destroyed Ronaldo’s self-esteem and the Portugal captain is ready to join Real Madrid or Manchester City.

The report claims Ronaldo is refusing to speak his Juventus teammates or coach Massimiliano Allegri and is keen to change cities.

He has one year left on his current deal with the Serie A side.
