The All Progressives Congress (APC) may have chosen Idris Wase (Plateau) to emerge the Deputy Speaker of the 9th House of Representatives.
This hint was dropped by Hon. Abdulmumin Jibrin (Kano), who is the Director-General (DG) of the Femi Gbajabiamila campaign council.
Gbajabiamila had been adopted by the ruling party last month as the next Speaker.
Writing on his verified Twitter account on Saturday, Jibrin posted the picture of the two men and warned that any APC lawmaker who fails to support the party’s choice will be sanctioned.
“MURUS!!! Mr Speaker and Mr Deputy Speaker 9th Assembly. If you are an APC member and against the two, you are on collision course with the party.
“2015 is NOT 2019 in so many ways.We are assuring our 360 colleagues, Femi and Wase will run an all-inclusive House. Hon A Jibrin DG,” Jibrin wrote.
