It was gathered that the incident occurred on Friday, 1st October, and their corpses were discovered when residents of the area observed both couples lying on the floor of their apartment’s dining section.
The neighbours, who later forced their way into the apartment, discovered that the couples were dead.
Residents, who spoke to this medium, stated that they suspected that the couples may have died as a result of poisoning because their corpses were found close to their dining table.
The Public Relations Officer of the Osun Police Command, Yemisi Opalola has also confirmed the development.
Opalola stated that the couple, 55-year-old Mr Olasunkanmi Eso and his wife 50-year-old Mrs Fisayo Eso, were found dead on the floor of their dining room.
She also added that the command was awaiting the report of autopsy from the hospital to ascertain the actual cause of their deaths.
