Osun govt records four new COVID-19 cases, discharges 11 patients

The Osun State Government, on Sunday, announced the discovery of four new COVID-19 cases in the State.

The State also discharged 11 patients from its Isolation Centre.

Osun has 175 active cases and 339 total number of confirmed cases of coronavirus.

The State Commissioner for Health, Dr. Rafiu Isamotu, disclosed this in a statement on Sunday.

Dr. Isamotu while appealing to citizens and residents of the State to always observe all the precautionary measures laid down by the State against the spread of the virus, noted that the cases were contacts of previous cases in the State.

He said, “The latest development shows that the number of confirmed cases in the State, as at July 19 stands at 339 with 175 active cases.”

According to him, the State has successfully treated and discharged 156 patients, while eight deaths have so far been recorded in the State.
