Ogun guber: Ladi Adebutu emerges PDP governorship candidate

Ahead of the 2019 election, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ogun State has elected Ladi Adebutu as its governorship candidate in the state.

Adebutu was elected as the party’s preferred candidate, after polling a total of 2,369 votes across wards in the state.

Speaking after he was declared winner, Adebutu thanked all party members for their support, stating that he was glad to be their preferred candidate.

He promised to provide adequate electricity, free education and to construct roads if he emerged governor of the state.

Also speaking, the state Chairman of the party, Sikiru Ogundele stated that Adebutu was the only preferred candidate of the party in the state.
