Nigeria vs Cameroon: Super Eagles defeat defending champions, qualify for quarter-final

Nigeria are through to the quarter-final of the Africa Cup of Nations, after they defeated Cameroon 3-2 on Saturday.

Odion Ighalo opened scoring in the 19th minute, after his shot was deflected in by Banana.

The Indomitable Lions fought back to lead 2-1 before the break, thanks to goals from Stephane Bahoken and Clinton N’Jie.

However, Gernot Rohr’s men turned it around with two quickfire goals from Ighalo and Alex Iwobi.
