Nigeria Customs commences training of new recruits January

Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has announced the start of basic training for the candidates recently enlisted.

Comptroller Jerry Attah, the Public Relations Officer, issued a statement on Thursday.

The six months programme will take place in Customs Training Colleges (CTC) in Kano and Lagos.

The arrival date is Sunday 9th January, 2022, while commencement date is Monday 10th January.

All documented candidates of Grade levels 03, 04 and 06 are to report at the CTC Goron Dutse in Kano.

However, those of Grade 08 are to report at the CTC Ikeja in Lagos, Attah noted.

The recruits were informed that any act of indiscipline during training will attract severe penalties, including dismissal.

“Arrival at the designated College, according to the specified levels above on Sunday 9th January 2022 is mandatory,” it said.

The spokesman wished the candidates safe journey as they head to Kano and Lagos.
