Niger Gov, Sani Bello wins Niger North Senatorial District election

The All Progressives Congress, APC, senatorial candidate, Governor Alh Abubakar Sani Bello of Niger State, has been declared winner of the Niger North Senatorial District election.

The senatorial elections were conducted in the senatorial district on Saturday.

Declaring the results, the Returning Officer, Professor Kolo Zakiyos, FUT Minna, said Bello polled 100,197 votes to beat Shehu Muhammad Abdullahi of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, with 88,153 votes.

While Alhaji Ibrahim Wali of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP, scored 13,886 votes.
