Liverpool vs Manchester City: Michael Owen predicts winner, scoreline

Former England star, Michael Owen, has predicted the scoreline of the Premier League game between Manchester City and Liverpool.

The two attacking sides will face each other tomorrow at Anfield.

Owen, a former Liverpool player, believes the match will end 3-1 in favour of his old club.

“You must go back to 2003 for the last time City won at Anfield and the Reds have already beaten City three times this year – twice in the Champions League and a famous 4-3 Premier League success back in January,” the former Real Madrid star told Betvictor.

“Liverpool have kept a clean sheet in their last eight Premier League home games and are unbeaten in their last 24 home league games.

“It promises to be another wonderful occasion and a great game between two top-quality sides.

“The Premier League will not be won at Anfield on Sunday, but the winners will go into the international break at least two points clear in the table.

“I expect to see another home win for the Reds. Michael’s Prediction: Liverpool 3-1 Manchester City.”
