Leganes vs Real Madrid: Gareth Bale, Marcelo excluded as Zidane confirms squad for LaLiga clash

Real Madrid head coach, Zinedine Zidane has released a 22-man squad to face Leganes in Sunday’s La Liga fixture at Butarque Stadium.

Zidane omitted forward, Gareth Bale, and defender, Marcelo from the squad to face Leganes.

The Frenchman released the list in a post via the club’s official Twitter handle on Saturday.

Zidane’s side head to the game after beating Villarreal 2-1 in their last La Liga encounter on Thursday.

Real Madrid squad against Leganes:

Goalkeepers: Courtois, Areola, and Altube.

Defenders: Carvajal, Militão, Sergio Ramos, Varane, Nacho, and Mendy.

Midfielders: Kroos, Modric, Casemiro, Valverde, and Isco.

Forwards: Benzema, L. Vazquez, Jovic, Asensio, Brahim, Mariano, Vinicius Jr., Rodrygo.

The match is scheduled for 8 pm.
