Islamic calendar: Governor Badaru declares Monday Public holiday holiday

Jigawa State Governor, Badaru Abubakar has declared Monday 9th of August, 2021 as Holiday to mark the Islamic new Year, 1443 After Hijrah(AH).

The State Head of Civil Service, Alhaji Hussaini Ali Kila stated this in a press statement issued to DAILY POST.

The Governor Congratulated the entire Muslims ummah for witnessing the New Year.

He, therefore, urged people to intensify prayers against the current insecurity situation of the Country.

The statement, however, urged the people of the State to reflect the teachings of Islam and Practice of Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
