How Arsene Wenger reacted to Liverpool’s Champions League final 2-0 win over Tottenham

Former Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger, has reacted to Liverpool’s Champions League final 2-0 victory over Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday night.

A first half goal from Mohamed Salah and a late second half strike from Divock Origi ensured Jurgen Klopp’s side won the Champions League ahead of Tottenham.

Speaking after the match, Wenger said on beIN SPORTS: “We live in a society where you feel that if you are not the best you are Mr. Nobody, and in our world even more so.

“But as I said before the game both managers made a good job to get in there and at the end of the day, it is cruel in our game.

“Always one jumps to the roof and one cries, and if you’re the one who cries you feel you have not done well even if sometimes you have done.”
