Grammy Award: How Psquare’s MrP reacted to Burna Boy’s nomination

Nigerian music star, Peter Okoye, popularly known as MrP, has congratulated Burna Boy on his Grammy Award nomination.

DAILY POST had reported that Burna Boy on Wednesday got nominated for Grammy Award for Best World Music Album with his album, ‘African Giant’.

His album was nominated alongside Gece ‘Altin Gun’ Celia ‘Angelique Kidjo’

The 62nd Grammy Awards is set to air on Sunday, January 26, 2020.

Reacting, Okoye, who now goes by the stage name MrP said Burna Boy’s nomination was for the continent of Africa.

A post on his verified Twitter handle reads: “Congratulations @burnaboy … This is for the continent Africa#GrammyNominee.”
