Federal University Dutse announces resumption date after ASUU strike

The Federal University Dutse has announced Monday, October 31, as the resumption date of academic activities.

This was contained in a statement signed by the Institution Registrar, Abubakar Mijinyawa.

He said the approval followed after the 55th meeting of the Senate of the University.

“The Senate in its emergency meeting approved the date for resumption of academic activities for the continuation of the 2020/2021 academic session,” he said.

The resumption of ASUU followed the court of appeal sitting in Abuja which ordered ASUU to call off its eight monthly strikes on 07 October 2022.

ASUU had been on strike since February 14 2022 over the Federal Government’s failure to meet their demands.
