Europa League: Arsenal qualify for final after beating Valencia 4-2

Arsenal have qualified for the final of the Europa League, following a thrilling 4-2 win over Valencia at the Mestalla on Thursday.

Unai Emery’s men travelled to Spain with a 3-1 lead from the first leg last week.

But it was Kevin Gameiro who struck first to give the LaLiga side the lead. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang levelled six minutes later, as the Gunners got their first away goal of the tie.

Gameiro cancelled out Alexandre Lacazette’s instinctive strike, before Aubameyang’s brace settled the tie.

Arsenal qualify on a 7-3 aggregate and will face either Chelsea or Frankfurt in Baku on May 29.
