Neymar has been strongly linked with moves to his former club Barcelona and their rivals Real Madrid, although he appeared to suggest that England would be a preferred destination in a new video interview.
Speaking on his official YouTube channel, the Brazilian fielded questions from various football stars including his former Barcelona teammate Luis Suarez and Brazil international colleague Gabriel Jesus.
City’s Benjamin Mendy asked: “Answer me sincerely.Do you think one day you’ll play in the Premier League?”
Neymar responded: “It’s a big competition. One of the greatest in the world.
“We don’t know how tomorrow will be, but I believe that every great player, at least one day, has to play in the Premier League.
“If you’re playing there, then I hope you can keep enjoying the Premier League, because you deserve only the best! Hugs! Thanks!”
