EPL: Gary Neville blames Man United’s players over 4-0 loss to Everton

Garry Neville, former Manchester United captain, has blamed Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men following their humiliating 4-0 defeat to Everton in the Premier League on Sunday.

Goals from Richarlison, Gylfi Sigurdsson, Lucas Digne and Theo Walcott gave Everton all three points against Man United at Goodison Park.

Neville blamed Man United players for their lackluster performance against the hosts, describing their defeat as ‘embarrassing’.

The defeat to Everton means, Man United remain in sixth position on the Premier League table with 64 points.

“I’m furious, the fact he has to go over and apologise to the fans at the whistle is embarrassing,” Neville told Sky Sports.

“There’s some bad weeds not only in the garden, but Japanese knotweed attacking the entire house and they need it eradicating.

“I have 100 per cent faith in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, but he needs backing and this performance was rancid.

“I would imagine the more Ole Gunnar Solskjaer sees these players, he will be losing faith in them.”
