EFCC set to arraign Atiku’s lawyer over alleged $2M fraud


The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is set to arraign on Wednesday, August 14, Uyiekpen Giwa-Osagie who is said to be a lawyer to Atiku Abubakar, presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) during the 2019 election.

Osagie was arrested by the anti-graft agency on February 19, on allegation of money laundering.

He was subsequently granted administrative bail.

Giwa-Osagie is expected to be arraigned alongside his brother, Erhunse Osagie, before Justice Nicholas Oweibo, at the federal high court in Ikoyi.
