COVID-19: Total active cases now 11,808 as NCDC confirms 86 fresh infections

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, has said that the total number of active coronavirus (COVID-19) cases is now 11,808.

This follows the confirmation of 86 fresh cases of the virus in 7 states and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

The agency made the announcement on Sunday night via a tweet on its verified Twitter handle.

The new figures bring the total number of recorded infections so far to 161,737, with 2,030 deaths and 147,899 recoveries.
