COVID-19: El-Rufai govt announces 21 new cases in Kaduna, reveals locations

The Kaduna State government has confirmed twenty-one (21) new COVID-19 cases in the State.

It explained that the 21 cases were part of the 320 samples collected and tested for the virus.

In a tweet on Monday night, the State government disclosed that the cases were from Kaduna South, Chikun, Kaduna North, Lere, and Sabon-Gari.

The tweet read: “Covid-19 Update, 27 July 2020: 13 patients are due for discharge. 21 samples returned positive out of 320 analyzed.

“The new cases are from Kaduna North 6, Kaduna South 5, Chikun 4 and three each from Sabon Gari and Lere.”

Meanwhile, the number of COVID-19 cases in Nigeria is 41,180, according to the NCDC
