BBNaija: Your money has been taken to South Africa – Omokri blasts Nigerians over 1 billion votes

Reno Omokri, a former aide to ex-President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, has berated Nigerians, accusing them of misplaced priority following the outcome of the just-concluded Big Brother Naija.

Omokri suggested that Nigerians have attached more importance to something that indeed should require less priority from them by casting over a billion votes during the show.

He lamented that money gotten through this huge number of votes will definitely be taken to South Africa, the home of DSTV and GOTV.

The former presidential aide noted that he has never seen Nigerians donate money if a honest, capable presidential aspirant needs it.

“1 billion votes! I can’t even begin to imagine how much money DSTV and the BBNaija organisers made,” he tweeted.

“Money that will be transferred to their home country, South Africa. Meanwhile, we Nigerians won’t donate money if a honest, capable Presidential aspirant needs it.”
