AFCON 2019 third-place playoff: Rohr reveals advantage Tunisia have over Nigeria

Head coach of the Super Eagles, Gernot Rohr, has pointed out the advantage Tunisia have over his team, ahead of their Africa Cup of Nations third-place playoff on Wednesday.

Rohr, addressing the media today, claimed that the Carthage Eagles are used to the pitch at the Al Salam Stadium.

Nigeria played their three group fixtures in Alexandria and two knockout games at the Cairo International Stadium.

“Tunisia have the advantage of having played here before and Alain Giresse is a very experienced coach.

“But I also have some experience as well and I believe we would both bring that to bear tomorrow,” Rohr said.

Kick off for the match is 8pm West African time.
