Festus Keyamo, SAN, the Director of Strategic Communication of the Muhammadu Buhari Campaign Organization in the last election has reacted to viral video of lawmaker representing Adamawa North senatorial district in the Senate, Elisha Abbo caught on camera physically assaulting a woman at an adult toy shop in Abuja.
In the viral video, he was seen descending on the woman after she pleaded with him not to physically assault the shopowner.
The lawmaker had accused the shopowner of insulting him.
Speaking on the viral report, Keyamo took to his Twitter page urging the Nigeria police to swing into action and arrest Senator Abbo.
Keyamo wrote: “The case of Senator Elisha Abbo is very straightforward: the Police MUST IMMEDIATELY take three steps
“1. Arrest him (no formal complaint is needed with the evidence on tape) 2. Obtain his statement (if he’s willing to make one) and that of the victim 3. Arraign him in court.”
